Chip Morgan is an internationally recognized polygraph instructor, law enforcement trainer and lecturer. Mr. Morgan has shared his training and expertise with others in law enforcement, military and corrections arenas.

Chip has been a featured speaker, primary instructor, guest lecturer and keynote speaker at numerous national training seminars and colleges throughout the world.

Chip is a Senior Instructor and Co-Director of The Polygraph Institute, an APA accredited polygraph school located in
San Antonio, Texas

Chip was a Senior Polygraph Instructor, PEAK Credibility Assessment Training Center, a division of Lafayette Instrument Company. 2016 to 2018. Cape Coral, FL.

Chip was an Administrative Investigator and adjunct Polygraph Examiner, Ada County Sheriff’s Office, Boise, Idaho. 2006 to 2022.

Chip was the Polygraph Division Director, Stoelting Company. 2014-2016. Chicago, IL.

Chip taught for the US Dept. of Defense as a Polygraph Program Manager – Polygraph School Director – U.S. Department of Defense, Baghdad, Iraq. 2010-2011

Chip was a criminal investigator (Detective) for the Boise Police Department. 1975 to 2006 – Boise Police Department. Boise, Idaho

Chip was on the Curriculum Development Team – Core Instructor – Small Town and Rural Drug Enforcement Training Program, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Glynco, Georgia.1990-2000.

Chip Morgan is the past Chairman of the Board and President of the National Polygraph Association and serves as a quality control officer for that organization.

He is the past president of the following organizations: International Brotherhood of Police Officers, Boise Police Association, Idaho Fire & Arson Investigators Association, Idaho Narcotics Officers Association, and Idaho Polygraph Association.

Chip is currently on the Board of Directors of the American Polygraph Association and is the President-Elect of the APA.
